Anatoliki Fragkista keeps its traditions alive through religious celebrations, local festivals and cultural events that bring together residents and visitors throughout the year. The village becomes especially lively during the summer, with events that combine religious tradition, music, local history and the area’s long-standing commercial heritage.
- Feast of the Holy Apostles – held on 30 June, it is one of the village’s established religious celebrations.
- Feast of the Transfiguration of the Saviour – held on 6 August, centred around the Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Saviour, in a lush setting with plane trees and flowing water.
- Sotira Fair – the historic fair of Anatoliki Fragkista takes place every August, traditionally on the 17th, 18th and 19th of the month. It was once one of the most important trade fairs in Central Greece and continues to attract merchants, producers, residents and visitors. Beneath the large plane trees of Sotira, the fair is combined with music, local flavours and traditional festivities, keeping alive a tradition passed down through many generations.
- Kafantareia – cultural events dedicated to Georgios Kafantaris, held every two years. The programme usually includes historical and cultural events honouring this important figure, who was born in Anatoliki Fragkista.
- Koulouma – on Clean Monday, the local cultural association organises events that keep the village’s customs and social traditions alive.
