Agia Triada, nestled on the northern slopes of Mount Velouchi at an altitude of about 770–800 meters, is a peaceful mountain destination just minutes from Karpenisi and its Ski Center. At the highest point of the village stands the Church of the Holy Trinity, renovated in 1906, while the Church of Saint Vissarion (1884) is noted for its remarkable carved wooden iconostasis. The village has a rich cultural footprint: the “K. Tsatsos” Museum, the “Foteios” Lending Library with about 8,000 volumes, the Folklore Museum in the Karapiperis house, and the beautifully restored traditional watermill at the entrance of the village showcase the community’s dedication to history and heritage. It is the perfect place for visitors wishing to combine nature, culture, and relaxation just a short distance from the town.
