Highlights

At the highest point of Agia Triada stands the parish Church of the Holy Trinity, renovated in 1906, a landmark for both locals and visitors. Also noteworthy is the stone Church of Saint Vissarion (1884), with its remarkable carved wooden iconostasis. At the entrance of the village, travelers can admire the beautifully restored traditional watermill, a reminder of the area’s rural heritage. Agia Triada is also a center of culture and learning: the “K. Tsatsos” Museum presents the life and work of this prominent Greek intellectual, while the Karapipereio Cultural Foundation hosts the “Foteios” Lending Library with approximately 8,000 volumes and the Folklore Museum inside the historic Karapiperis house, open mainly during the summer months.
