Vraggiana combines the centuries-old history and spiritual tradition of Agrafa with an impressive mountain landscape. Old churches, historic centres of learning and monuments meet alpine peaks, fir forests and short hiking trails, offering visitors many different aspects of the area.

• Church of Agios Dimitrios – located in the settlement of Stanades and dating from 1550. The church preserves old religious relics that reflect the long-standing spiritual tradition of the area.
• Monastery of Agia Paraskevi – dating from 1580, it is one of the most important historic and religious monuments of Vraggiana. Beside it stands the historic School of Gouva, known as the Hellenomouseion of Agrafa, while the busts of Saint Eugenios Aitolos and Anastasios Gordios can be found in its courtyard.
• Church of Agios Ioannis Theologos – located in the “Apano Mahala” neighbourhood and dating from 1590, it is another notable example of the village’s long ecclesiastical tradition.
• Church of Agios Georgios – the church preserves relics of Saints Charalambos, Modestos, Nikitas and Tryfon.
• Church of Apostle Paul – located in the settlement of Koustesa and built between 1966 and 1969. Smaller churches and chapels can also be found in the surrounding settlements, including Panagia and Agios Charalambos in Valari.
• Busts of Saint Eugenios Aitolos and Anastasios Gordios – located in the courtyard of Agia Paraskevi and forming part of the historic Hellenomouseion of Agrafa complex, they honour two important figures associated with the intellectual and spiritual tradition of the region.
• Alpine peaks and ridges of Agrafa – impressive peaks rise around Vraggiana, including Bourlero, Archonto at approximately 2,080 m, Stoicheio or Plaka at around 2,018 m, Tsekoura at approximately 2,020 m, Katarachias, Ginetsi, Delidimo and Aforismeni. The dramatic mountain terrain offers panoramic views and striking images of the wild natural beauty of Agrafa.
• Hiking routes around the settlements – the areas around Valari, Koustesa and Elatos are ideal for short walks through fir forests, past natural springs and streams, with beautiful views towards the surrounding mountains.
• Nearby mountain settlements – Vraggiana is a good starting point for exploring villages and locations in the wider area, such as Trovato, Agrafa, Tridendro and Niales, set within a landscape of forests, streams and old stone bridges.
