Try the traditional pies of Agrafa, the famous plasto, the vegetable pie and the trachanopita with handmade foil. Taste the local goat meat as well as the wild trout from the Agrafiotis river, try real, authentic yeast bread in the wood-fired oven, with fresh goat butter or fresh soft cheese (galotiri)!
Agrafa is full of chestnuts, walnuts and cornels, try the spoon sweets and liqueurs, drink (in moderation!) tsipouro without anise and put honey and trachana in your luggage. If you come in summer, a walk in the mountains will give you the pleasure of picking your own oregano, mountain tea, blackberries and cherry plums.
And a tip for amateurs and non-cooks: try in your own cooking to replace, in lemon-flavored dishes, the lemon with cherry plums, the "sour" as the locals call it, and take your dish off the ground.
